description La presente investigación realiza un análisis descriptivo de la producción de presencia como eje fundamental de la práctica performativa de María Teresa Hincapié, performer colombiana, que indagó en el estudio de las actividades cotidianas, a través, de intervenciones duracionales de más de ocho horas. Estas se caracterizan por la implementación de aspectos como la repetición, la reiteración y la lentitud. Mediante la implementación de dichos aspectos, las actividades cotidianas en las intervenciones de esta artista se resignifican para adquirir nuevos sentidos dentro de las prácticas sociales y artísticas.
