Asimismo, la nueva visión contempla el máximo aprovechamiento de las oportunidades y fortalezas de Tumbes y del Perú, atenuando las debilidades y amenazas que pongan en riesgo su cumplimiento a través del monitoreo y la elaboración de planes de acción de mejoras. El cumplimiento de la nueva visión está enmarcada en pilares estratégicos para Tumbes como: (a) turismo, (b) agroindustria, (c) generación de energía, y (d) desarrollo humano. En este sentido, para estos pilares se plantea un alcance global e innovador, con el fin de obtener una ventaja competitiva a nivel nacional y mundial de manera sostenible, preservando el medio ambiente. Finalmente, el escenario futuro planteado desarrollará indirectamente a otras regiones y por ende al Perú, permitiendo un auge económico y social con un impacto multiplicador. Sin embargo, se tendrá que poner mucho énfasis y esfuerzos en mejorar y desarrollar aspectos de infraestructura y nuevas tendencias tecnológicas.

Also, the new vision includes the maximum use of the opportunities and strengths of Tumbes and Peru, mitigating the weaknesses and threats that jeopardize its accomplishment through monitoring and building-up of improvement action plans. The accomplishment of the new vision is framed in strategic pillars for Tumbes such as: (a) tourism, (b) agro-industry, (c) energy generation, and (d) human development. In this sense, a comprehensive and innovative scope is proposed for these pillars, in order to gain a competitive advantage nationally and globally in a sustainable way, preserving the environment. Finally, the future scenario will develop indirectly other regions and therefore to Peru, enabling economic and social boom with a multiplier impact.
