Encontramos que su concepción de la salud incluye las siguientes dimensiones: espiritual, emocional, corporal, mental y vincular. La espiritualidad resalta como un elemento transversal que acompaña el entendimiento y la práctica concreta de los curanderos en el campo de la salud. Asimismo, el cuerpo destaca como el lugar en donde se concretizan todas las demás dimensiones. Esta mirada multidimensional expresa la concepción integral que los curanderos tienen acerca de la salud y que incluye todas las dimensiones del ser humano. The participants were two women and eight men from the cities of Pucallpa, Tarapoto and Iquitos. We worked from the qualitative methodology and we conducted interviews in order to collect and analyze the information. We found that their conception of health includes the following dimensions: spiritual, emotional, corporal, mental and relationships. The spirituality stands out as a transversal element that goes within the understanding and the practical experience of the shamans in the health field. In addition, the body enhances as the main object of intervention. This multidimensional point of view expresses the integral conception that the shamans have about health, and that includes all dimensions of the human being.
