Sumario:Education in Peru has undergone significant transformations driven by the incorporation of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, which accelerated their adoption to ensure educational continuity. However, this progress has revealed deep inequalities in access to education and technology, highlighting the digital divide and insufficientresources. The current educational landscape combines challenges and opportunities, where the quality of education has been compromised and the integration of ICT faces obstacles. It is crucial that public policies promote not only equitable access but also continuous training for teachers in digital and pedagogical skills. The use of technologies and innovations in education can transform learning, granting greater prominence to students. Trends such as artificial intelligence and inquiry-based learning are fundamental for adapting education to the needs of the 21st century. Collaboration among the government, educational institutions, technology companies, and communities is essential to create a sustainable educational ecosystem. While there are significant opportunities to improve education, challenges also arise, such as resistance to change and inequity in access to resources. Addressing these challenges will be key to ensuring inclusive and quality education for all students in Peru. The integration of technology must be accompanied by clear policies, ongoing teacher training, and effective collaboration among all involved stakeholders.
