| Sumario: | The purpose of this study is to present the innovation proposal on the Task Based Learning methodology and the use of the Alelo Artificial Intelligence tool, and how these would impact the oral production of students in the A1 level English university course, through the development of practical activities so that they can produce orally according to their level using the appropriate grammar and vocabulary seeking to improve their fluency, accuracy and pronunciation in language mentioned. It is worth mentioning that this tool promotes virtual interaction with AI avatars that imitate the culture, behavior, and gestures of native English speakers, who respond naturally to the students, creating authentic conversations with a deep immersion in the language (Alelo, n.d.). A crucial aspect in the design of the innovation proposal was the research carried out, starting from the literature review; this process also allowed us to collect information from the university, the course, the teacher, the students, the experiences and even the tools used in the learning sessions. Based on this, the following guiding question arises: how to enhance oral production using AI in an A1 level university English course? For this reason, an innovation proposal was developed, which has the general objective of: Enhancing students' oral production through the use of the AI tool, Alelo. For the validation process of the innovation proposal, various instruments were used, which allowed us to know the perception of experts on the methodology and the resource in question. In conclusion, it can be affirmed that, in view of the results shown, the design of the proposal is adequate, given that it involves the development of the elementary skill of oral production supported by the use of Alelo. |
