description This thesis aims to calculate the total capacity of the terminal equipment in the uplink for LTE-Advanced carrier aggregation intraband and interband according to 3GPP Release 11 and for this it is necessary to select an appropriate propagation model that allows obtaining the SNR and then determines the modulation of each carrier to be added , and finally calculate the capacity. For the calculation of the capacity, we have designed a web application that follows the parameters of Release 11 for carrier aggregation. It specifies the existing carrier aggregation types, and also the confugurations and combination. After making the channeled of each carrier, for carrier aggregation intraband continuous, the channel separation is evaluated. Then, knowing the terminal class and using the propagation model Cost-231 Hata and reference sensitivity in the link budget for the uplink, the cells of the adaptative modulation are calculated and then the capacity of each modulation cell to each component carrier. Finally, the total capacity is calculated in the uplink for carrier aggregation.

Finally, the total capacity is calculated in the uplink for carrier aggregation.Este trabajo tiene como finalidad calcular la capacidad total del equipo terminal, en el canal de subida de LTE-Advanced para agregación de portadora intrabanda e interbanda de acuerdo con el Release 11 del 3GPP; para esto es necesario seleccionar un modelo de propagación adecuado que permita obtener la SNR para luego determinar la modulación de cada portadora a agregarse, y finalmente calcular la capacidad. Para el cálculo de la capacidad, se ha diseñado una aplicación web que sigue los parámetros del Release 11 para la agregación de portadoras. Se especifica los tipos de agregación de portadoras existente, además de sus configuraciones y combinaciones. Luego de hacer el canalizado de cada una de las portadoras, en el caso de agregación de portadoras intrabanda contínua, se evalúa la separación intercanal. Luego, conociendo la clase del terminal y utilizando el modelo de propagación Cost-231 Hata y la sensibilidad de referencia en el link budget para el enlace se subida, se calculan los anillos de modulación adaptativa y con ello la capacidad de cada anillo de modulación, perteneciente a cada component carrier.
