description La presente investigación aborda el tema del desarrollo de pensamiento crítico, la capacidad que tenemos para analizar la información que recibimos, la cual es una habilidad esencial para ayudar a los jóvenes a tener un mejor entendimiento sobre ellos mismos y sus pensamientos, para comprender el mundo y cuál es su lugar en él como personas. Sin embargo, se ha encontrado en las raíces de esta problemática que el menor desarrollo del pensamiento crítico está conectado a la falta de recursos educativos con enfoque de filosofía, debido a que esta disciplina no se encuentra dentro de la currícula escolar, el grupo afectado son los jóvenes universitarios entre 18 y 22 años que requieren de estas habilidades para su desarrollo tanto académico como personal. Los recursos existentes dirigidos a este público, en el alcance peruano, tienden a estar desactualizados, a ser muy complejos o en formatos poco accesibles. A través del diseño, se propone un material educativo complementario que sea accesible, dinámico y atractivo para el público joven con el uso de una gráfica contemporánea y una narrativa sencilla que tiene como enfoque de la filosofía, de impulsar la reflexión a través del cuestionamiento. El proyecto “Habla Sophya” busca crear un espacio abierto que invite a los jóvenes a la crítica y el autoconocimiento, con la meta de enseñarles a pensar por sí mismos, es decir, que sean capaces de llegar a sus propias conclusiones.

However, it has been found at the roots of this problem that the lesser development of critical thinking is connected to the lack of educational resources with a philosophy focus, since this discipline is not obligatory within the school curriculum, the group that faces the consequences of this are university students between the ages of 18 and 22, whom need these skills for their academic and personal development. The existing resources aimed at this audience, in the Peruvian context, tend to be outdated, very complex/theory heavy or in inaccessible formats. Through graphic design, it’s proposed that complementary educational material can be accessible, dynamic and interesting for a young adult audience with the use of contemporary visual aesthetics, graphics and a narrative that focuses on seeing how philosophy can relate to experiences in their everyday lives, encouraging reflection through questioning and rumination.
