La investigación presenta un formato cualitativo de tipo transversal o transaccional y de alcance descriptivo, en donde se utilizaron tres herramientas: entrevistas semiestructuradas a autoridades y pobladores de cada distrito, revisión de literatura en fuentes secundarias y la observación. Se encontró que los tres distritos analizados cuentan con atractivos turísticos naturales y culturales, sin embargo, estos atractivos no se encuentran presentes de manera homogénea en las localidades. La mayor falencia se da por la falta de conocimiento acerca del potencial desarrollo con el que cuentan las comunidades frente al turismo rural comunitario, así como los beneficios que se generarían. Se concluye que los distritos analizados tienen un incipiente discernimiento sobre el modelo turismo rural comunitario. Así mismo, no cuentan con conocimiento y capacitación para gestionar cambios estructurales que permitan un incremento de nuevos negocios.

The objective is to identify the presence and correct application of these key factors in the mentioned tourism locations in the Nor-Yauyos region. The research presents a qualitative cross-sectional or transactional format with a descriptive scope, where three tools were used: semi-structured interviews with authorities and residents of each district, literature review and observation. The conclusion is that the three analyzed districts have natural and cultural tourist attractions, however, they vary in every location. The greatest weakness is the lack of knowledge regarding the potential development of this type of tourism, as well as the benefits that it would bring to their communities.
