En éste contexto, los diversos organismos vinculados con el sector tienen la misión de promover e implementar estrategias que permitan el desarrollo sostenible del sector a través de prácticas socialmente responsables y de respeto al medio ambiente. La presente tesis presenta un planeamiento estratégico para el sector acuícola de Perú que lo convierta en el principal abastecedor mundial de nuevas especies de productos acuícolas para el consumo humano directo y, que sea reconocido por el uso de la investigación científica y el desarrollo tecnológico en el cultivo de nuevas especies
