Objetivo: Determinar la actitud hacia la investigación científica en Tecnólogos Médicos del Perú. Materiales y método: Estudio observacional y transversal, realizado entre mayo y agosto de 2022 en Tecnólogos Médicos. Los participantes completaron una encuesta en línea sobre características académicas e investigativas y actitud hacia la investigación que se evaluó mediante la Escala de Actitudes hacia la Investigación (EACIN). Resultados: De 462 Tecnólogos Médicos que participaron 59.9% (N = 277) fueron mujeres, 65.4% (N = 302) tenían el grado de bachiller y la especialidad de laboratorio clínico represento 49.9% (N = 230). Con respecto la actitud hacia la investigación, 96.4% (N = 445) fue regular; por otro lado, el presentar una actitud hacia la investigación se encontró relacionado con el grado académico y el desarrollo de un proyecto de investigación (p<0.05). Conclusión: La mayoría de los Tecnólogos Médicos en Perú presentan una actitud regular hacia la investigación científica.

Objetive: Determine the attitude towards scientific research in Medical Technologists in Peru. Material and methods: Observational and cross-sectional study, carried out between May and August 2022 in Medical Technologists. Participants completed an online survey on academic and research characteristics and attitude towards research, which was evaluated using the Research Attitudes Scale (EACIN). Results: 462 Medical Technologists who participated, 59.9% (N = 277) were women, 65.4% (N = 302) had a bachelor's degree, and the clinical laboratory specialty represented 49.9% (N = 230). Regarding the attitude towards research, 96.4% (N = 445) was regular; On the other hand, having an attitude toward research was found to be related to academic degree and the development of a research project (p<0.05).
