La presente investigación tuvo comoproblema principal saber cuál es el grado derelación existente entre el clima institucionaly el desempeño docente en las institucioneseducativas del nivel secundario de la zonaurbana del Consejo Educativo Municipal deYarinacocha-Pucallpa; el objetivo general fueestablecer el grado de relación existente entre elclima institucional y el desempeño docente en lasinstituciones educativas del nivel secundario de lasede de estudio. La investigación fue descriptivocorrelacional, la población estuvo integrada por300 docentes de las instituciones educativas delnivel secundario de zona urbana del ConsejoEducativo Municipal del distrito de Yarinacochay la muestra de estudio estuvo conformada por135 profesores. La técnica de investigación fuela encuesta y el instrumento, el cuestionario. Laprincipal conclusión fue que existe relación entreclima institucional y desempeño docente, siendopositiva.

The researchwas descriptive correlational, the populationwas made up of 300 teachers of the educationalinstitutions of the secondary level of urban area ofthe Municipal Educational Council of the district ofYarinacocha and the study sample was made upof 135 teachers. The research technique was thesurvey and the instrument, the questionnaire. Themain conclusion was that there is a relationshipbetween institutional climate and teachingperformance, being positive.
