Model of knowledge management to improve the quality of scientific research in universities in Peru

The present work arose after the situational diagnosis and observation of thesis quality and Scientific articles produced in Pre and Postgraduate in Universities of the country. We worked with a representative sample of 50 university actors, who answered the questionnaire and scientifically allowed to verify the problematic situation. A model of knowledge management based on pedagogical constructivism, curriculum by competences in universities of the country and in strategic management was proposed. This model constitutes a multidisciplinary educational effort, aimed at changing attitudes, values, behaviors and structure of scientific research, adapted with new conjunctures, technologies and challenges in the university.  Key words: Model, management, knowledge, leadership, quality, research, scientific, epistemology.  
El presente trabajo surgió después del diagnóstico situacional y observación de la calidad de tesis y artículos científicos producidos en Pre y Post Grado en Universidades del país. Se trabajó con muestra representativa de 50 actores universitarios, que respondieron al cuestionario y permitió científicamente constatar la situación problemática. Se propuso un modelo de gestión del conocimiento basado en constructivismo pedagógico, currículo por competencias en universidades del país y en la gestión estratégica. Este modelo se constituye en esfuerzo educacional multidisciplinario, destinado a cambiar actitudes, valores, comportamientos y estructura de investigación científica, adaptada con nuevascoyunturas, t e c n o l o g í a s y d e s a f í o s e n l a Un i v e r s i d a d .
