| Sumario: | Objective: Determine the relationship between conflict negotiation styles and sexual satisfaction. Methods: Thedesign is not experimental, Cross-sectional study and correlational style. The population is constituted for person’smarried Adventist denomination whom ages range between 24 and 75 years. The sample of the population instudies was estimated using non-probability procedures amounting to 67 subjects. It used The Negotiation StylesInventory of Conflict and of Levinger and Pietromonaco which has 30 items and measures four styles; and theSexual Satisfaction Inventory from Alvarez-Gayou, Honold and Millan, with 29 items, and classified into threelevels. Results: With respect to academic achievement obtained according to the weighted average, we found that46.5% of students tested has a regular level of academic performance, 10.5% have a low level, and 43.0% has ahigh level of academic achievement. On the other hand it was found that 34.9% of students presents a positivetrend in their study habits, 24.4% has a negative trend level, and 22.1% are in the positive level regarding theirstudy habits. Conclusions: Both study variables have some relationship. Specifically the collaborative style andavoidance is positively correlated with sexual satisfaction, as opposed to accommodation and competition styleshave no relation to sexual satisfaction. |
