Sumario:Objective: To determine the relation between the sociocultural factors and the familiar violence, in the Adventists of the District Missionary of Cieneguilla of the city of Lima, 2008. Methodology: By means of a cross-sectionalstudy, all members of the Adventist Church of the Seventh Day participated to 243 people, chosen by nonprobabilístico sampling; the data were gathered through a survey car administered previously validated by judgment ofexperts. Results: In relation to the prevalence with the familiar violence in the adventists: The 28,8% (70 adventistmembers) undergo familiar violence; with respect to the age, the most affected by the Familiar violence they arethose that are between the ages of 21 - 40 years, 40% (28 adventist members); who are between the ages of 10- 20 years, the 25,7% (18 adventist members) are less affected by the familiar violence; in relation to the factor themost excellent sex he is the feminine one, 62,9% (44 adventist members) suffers of familiar violence; in the factorlevel of study the most affected by the familiar violence they are those that are attending the secondary one, 58,6%(41 adventist members); as far as the occupation those that do not have remunerated use, the 68,6% (48 adventistmembers) suffer of familiar violence; with respect to the place of the most excellent origin they are those than theycome from the mountain range, 41,4% (29 adventist members), in relation to the place of the Church, where thefamiliar violence is demonstrated more is in the congregation of Cover, the 57,6% (19 adventist members), As faras the civil state, most excellent this given in the married ones (a), the 47,1% (33 adventist members) suffers offamiliar violence.Conclusión: The sociocultural factors that have statistically significant relation with the familiar violence inthe adventists of the district missionary of Cieneguilla are been civil and place of the church with a 95% of confidence.
