Probably the vaginal discharge is one of the most frequent reasons for consultation and for not being a disease that severely compromises the health of women, usually not given the importance it really has. Importance should have if one places the problem of what it means as an element that can significantly alter the quality of life of women who have it. We therefore consider it important to clearly define the different causes, proper diagnosis, management and treatment.
Probablemente el flujo vaginal es uno de los motivos más frecuentes de consulta y por no ser una patología que compromete seriamente la salud de las mujeres, no suele dársele la importancia que realmente tiene. Importancia que debería de tener si es que uno ubica el problema en lo que significa como elemento que puede alterar en forma importante la calidad de vida de las mujeres que la padecen. Por ello, consideramos importante definir claramente las diferentes causas, su adecuado diagnóstico, manejo y tratamiento.
