This publication will discuss a review of the research and the opinions of scientific groups that have been most devoted to the study of the actions of estrogen on non-sexual organs. This study is necessary because, with the increasing use of these hormones as contraceptives and replacement therapies, it is essential to know the best possible advantages and disadvantages of such treatment can lead to systems which are not directed.
En esta publicación expondremos una revisión de las investigaciones y de las opiniones de los grupos científicos que más se han dedicado al estudio de las acciones de los estrógenos sobre los órganos no sexuales. Este estudio es necesario pues, con el empleo cada vez mayor de estas hormonas como anticonceptivos y en terapias de reemplazo, es indispensable conocer lo mejor posible las ventajas e inconvenientes que dichos tratamiento pueden ocasionar sobre sistemas a los cuales no van dirigidos.
