Roaming is a service of mobile communications where the clients of a switch named home network, can use cellular service in another different network named visited network. It is the capacity of a mobile user to carry out and to receive calls with same cellular number when he travels another countries. This article presents the elements for the service infrastructure development, considering that represents an opportunity of business.
El roaming es un servicio de comunicaciones móviles donde los clientes de un switch, denominado red origen, pueden traficar en otra red distinta a la que se denomina red visitada. Es la capacidad de un cliente móvil para efectuar y recibir llamadas con su mismo número celular cuando viaja fuera del país. Este artículo presenta los elementos para el desarrollo de infraestructura del servicio, considerando que representa una oportunidad de negocio.
