Esta escala fue adaptada de la escala de Auzmendi aplicada a estudiantes del nivel secundario. Con el propósito de contar con un instrumento que permita obtener información acerca de las actitudes hacia las matemáticas de los estudiantes de los tres primeros ciclos de la Universidad del Pacífico se validó una escala que hemos denominado escala EAMUP. Esta escala fue adaptada de la escala de Auzmendi aplicada a estudiantes del nivel secundario.
