Investigation of operative memory, inference and grammar competency in reading comprehension

This article presents an advance of the investigation about the level of influence in cognitive factors focused in reading comprehension, particularly in the grammatical competition, the operative memory and the inferences. Educational action must take into account these strategies. Consequently, we present the objectives of this investigation, as well as the theoretical frame, which specifies the definition of each one of the variables. The problem of the investigation and the corresponding hypotheses are also developed. The condition of the situation allows us to affirm that inferential strategies are the most important; we indicate that this research is of an almost experimental character, which will be validated using the analyses instruments elaborated for it.
Este artículo presenta el avance de la investigaciónsobre el nivel de influencia de los factores cognitivos en la comprensión de la lectura, particularmente de la competencia gramatical, de la memoria operativa y de las inferencias. La acción educativa debe centrar sus estrategias teniendo en cuenta esta información. Para ello se presentan los objetivos de la investigación, así como el marco teórico, en el cual de precisa la definición de cada una de las variables. Luego se formula el problema de la investigación y las hipótesis correspondientes. El estado de la cuestión nos permite afirmar que las estrategias inferenciales son las más importantes, y sostenemos que esta investigaciónde carácter cuasi experimental será validada a la luz de los análisis de los instrumentos elaborados para ella.
