| Sumario: | The theory of Reuven Feuerstein about cognitive structuralmodifiability explains that the teacher is the principal agentof change and transformation in deficient structures ofstudents with learning difficulties; consequently, the teachermust have a solid cognitive formation, methodology and ahumanistic ethic. The program is based in the principle of cerebral selfplasticityand allows the subject to adapt and catch up withthe changes, preparing him or her to face the challengesof globalization. The cognitive modifiability instrument is the Program ofInstrumental Enrichment, which has fourteen instruments designed to modify a cognitive deficient function orstrategy; the purpose is to modify self perception andprovide a radical optimism about the possibilities of changeand improvement. |
