Environmental responsibility of an organization must be understood as an ethical commitment, taken from the direction, and that can be implemented by different instruments, depending on the degree of organizational commitment to the preservation of its natural environment and the means at their disposal to meet their environmental goals. Every organization must be aware of the environmental impact generated, and drastically reduce the need in the shortest time possible, to promote sustainable development. To this end, the present research has proposed the development of a theoretical framework for better understanding of the subject studied, emphasizing what Peruvian companies are doing for the environment and the ecosystems that are the backbone of our future sustainability of our rich biodiversity and second to expose cases of three flagship institutions of our country. It concludes with the contributions that the study believes should be considered in any CSR policy and specifically in environmental responsibility.
La responsabilidad ambiental de una organización debe entenderse como un compromiso ético, asumido desde la dirección, y que puede implementarse mediante diversos instrumentos, dependiendo del grado de compromiso de la organización con la preservación de su entorno natural y los medios a su alcance para cumplir sus metas ambientales. Toda organización debe ser consciente del impacto ambiental que genera, y de la necesidad de reducirlo drásticamente en el menor tiempo posible, para propiciar el desarrollo sostenible. En la investigación presente se ha propuesto la elaboración de un marco teórico para la mejor comprensión del tema estudiado, poniendo énfasis en lo que están haciendo las empresas peruanas por el ambiente y los ecosistemas que son el soporte de nuestro futuro sostenimiento de nuestra rica biodiversidad y segundo exponiendo los casos de tres instituciones emblemáticas de nuestro país. Se concluye con los aportes que el estudia considera debe tenerse presente en toda política de RSE y específicamente en la responsabilidad Ambiental.
