This text questions the problems and solutions derived ttom the atomization and increasingspecialization of the sciences of man. This fact had led to multidisciplinary,interdisdplinary, transdisciplinary, and postdisciplinary conceptions as a way of solving this fragmentaüon and reaching an integral comprehension of reality, a propasa! caughtitself inro a disciplinary conception of reality. Sorne have tried to go far beyond andbacked the unification of the hurnan sciences, displadng the borders, the centers ofgravity and the traditional problems, and have propitiated the abandonment of the "nationalistic"spirit of each one of them, ro include all the sdences of man. Neverthelesst_he problem is more complexas far as it is the paradigm of the human sciences what isin debate. Iris necessary not only to rethink them but to "think them in" as Wallersteinpropases.
Este texto pone en cuestión los problemas y soluciones derivados de la atomización ycreciente especialización de las ciencias del hombre; este hecho ha dado origen a propuestasque intentan establecer diálogos, puentes y convergencias denominadas muLtidisciplinariedad,interdisciplinariedad, transdisciplinariedad, y postdisciplinariedad, con lo que sepretende resolver esta fragmentación y permitir la comprensión integral de la realidad.Estas propuestas, sin embargo, están atrapadas en una concepción disciplinaria de larealidad.Algunos han intentado ir mucho más allá proponiendo la unificación de las cienciashumanas, desplazando las fronteras, los centros de gravedad, las problernáticas tradicionales,propiciando el abandono del espfritu "nacionalista" de cada una de ellas, eincluyendo a todas las ciencias del hombre. Sin embargo, el problema es tnucho máscomplejo, puesto que lo que está en debate es el paradigma de las ciencias humanas: nosólo hay que repensadas sino impensadas, como propone Immanuel Wallerstein.
