Poco se ha analizado la obra teatral de Ricardo Palma. En nuestro estudio de la obra teatral Rodil, de Ricardo Palma, observaremos cómo el autor de Tradiciones peruanas construye, en su teatro (género que practicó antes que sus tradiciones), un proyecto limeño criollo en el que se concilia el hispanismo con el criollismo mediante la religión católica y el espíritu romántico. Para ello, se vale de los contrastes entre el virtuoso y el vicioso, el pueblo y la nobleza, entre otros. Nuestro estudio utiliza como herramienta de análisis la hermenéutica social del texto.
Ricardo Palma’s plays have barely been analyzed. In our study of Ricardo Palma’s play Rodil, we will examine how the author of Tradiciones peruanas (Peruvian Traditions) builds, in his theater (a genre he practiced before his tradiciones), a Creole Lima project in which Hispanism is reconciled with Criollismo by means of the Catholic religion and the romantic spirit. To do this, he uses the contrasts between the virtuous and the vicious, the people and the nobility, among others. Our study uses social hermeneutics of texts as a tool in the analysis.
Peu la pièce de théâtre de Ricardo Palma a été analysée. Dans notre étude de la pièce de théâtre Rodil, de Ricardo Palma, nous observerons comment l’auteur de Traditions péruviennes construit, dans son théâtre (le genre qui a pratiqué avant que ses traditions), un projet de Lima créole dans celui qui se concilie l’hispanisme avec le criollismo au moyen de la religion catholique et l’esprit romantique. Pour cela, il se sert des contrastes entre le vertueux et le vicieux, le peuple et la noblesse, entre les autres. L’herméneutique sociale du texte utilise notre étude comme outil d’analyse.
