The Sierra of Lima presents a great variety of archaeological sites with quilcas or cave paintings, which correspond to different pre-Hispanic chronological periods. In the present study we present the registry of three sites with paintings located in the Campesino Community of Yarucaya, Oyón district; constituting one of the first references on rock art in this province, so close to Lima, but so forgotten by archeology.

Tawantinsuyu included in its maximum expansion throughout the Central Andes, using fferent strategies of dominance for each national group conquered. The region of the central north coast of Peru, held in late periods of the Chancay, features unlike other outlying areas, a slight presence Tawantinsuyu, evidenced by the architecture and ceramics.

Ocros Province is one of the largest in the department of Ancash, in the ten districts presenting more than 500 archaeological sites of dierent periods, unfortunately so far not been investigated. e Study Group Ñawpaq Qastiquna department of Archaeology of San Marcos has begun work on archaeological survey in the province of Ocros, identifying a total of 45 archaeological sites of which 80% of the data is presented.

In this article we present the results of the archaeological investigations carried out in the Colquioc annex, district of the same name. Archaeological surveys have allowed to record archaeological sites hitherto unknown to archeology, from the Early Horizon periods, made up of pyramidal structures; small domestic units and burial areas of the Late Intermediate Period; and the old town of Colonial dating, corresponding to the town of reduction foundation of the first century of Hispanic domination. The Colquioc area acquired strategic importance in pre-Hispanic periods due to its location, next to the confluence of the Fortaleza and Purisima rivers, being a meeting point for various groups through the Tinkuy.
