Objective: Determine the audit of the Integrated Management System and its effective improvement of the mining sector in Peru, specifically, in terms of quality, environmental, safety and occupational health management. Method: This research was developed under a quantitative approach, with a non-experimental, correlational and cross-sectional design, which contemplated the application of surveys to 42 managers of a sample of 21 mining projects registered in the Ministry of Energy and Mines (MINEM). Determina si la realización de auditorias del Sistema Integrado de Gestión mejoraría la eficacia del sector minero. La metodología que se utiliza es de tipo descriptivo correlacional. La muestra utilizada es de 42 personas de 21 proyectos mineros del Perú. Con los resultados se percibe un Sig. = 0,023, (menor a 0,05), de tal manera, rechazamos la hipótesis nula y si aceptamos la hipótesis alterna aseverando que las auditorías del sistema integrado de gestión mejoraran la eficacia del sector minero 2018. tratándose de variables categóricas, se afirma la existencia de una asociación directa (positiva) entre las variables estudiadas.
