A measuring system of nuclear parameters using the techniques of In verse Kinetics and Neutron Noise has been installed in the Peruvian Nuclear Resean:h Reactor RNl. In this papera brief description of the system components is presented as well as of its ínstallatlon in the reactor core. The resu1ts of the measurements of reactor power and reactivity are reported.

Informa sobre la construcción de establecimiento para la asistencia de los enfermos en España y algunos datos sobre el seguro de enfermedad–maternidad. Con motivo del Primer Congreso Iberoamericano de Seguridad Social el Instituto Nacional de Previsión realizó una exposición de la tarea que cumplen los seguros sociales en España, la que fue instalada en el nuevo edificio del Instituto, inaugurado con motivo de la celebración del Congreso. Se exhibieron, además, muchas otras obras de la política social del Gobierno español. En la parte relativa a la edificación de establecimientos para prestar asistencia a los enfermos, la muestra fue tan nutrida que no faltarían escépticos que considerasen que había mucho de propaganda y exageración en el plan exhibido, pero se pudo comprobar más tarde que todo se ajustaba a la realidad y que la obra que realizaron los seguros sociales ...

Heterotopic pregnancy is of very rare presentation, usually with tubal location and exceptionally cervical, constituting a challenge for the obstetrician and gynecologist. A nulliparous 45 year-old patient presented a heterotopic cervical pregnancy. She had been subjected to assisted reproductive techniques. Clinically, there was only scarce vaginal bleeding. Ultrasound at 9 weeks of gestation showed double gestational sac, one located in the endocervix, and both fetuses alive. Treatment options were curettage and placement of intra-cervical balloon, embryo-reduction with potassium chloride, and hysterectomy; the patient decided a single elective hysterectomy. Pathology confirmed the diagnosis.

The residual tension and the molecular orientation in a material provide important information about its behavior. The presence or absence of residual tension determines the quality of the plastics used for the storage of information and others. In this work, a non destructive method was implemented for the evaluation of compact disks, as well as the storage of information in the same ones by means optic analysis of residual tension. A quantitative analysis of the tension state in different marks of CD was also made.
