This experimental research aimed to have and cultivate stem cells from pulp tissue of impacted third molars, from 20 volunteers of both genders aged between 18 and 22 years who meet the inclusion criteria and gave their consent to voluntary participation.The laboratory method comprises successive steps that begin with obtaining the sample imediata pulp for conservation in the standardized average Dullbecos Modified Eagle Medium® culture supplemented with fetal bovine serum and antibiotics solution. The technique used to obtain stem cells by enzymatic digestion was given by Gronthos et al; the expected density of cell culture was achieved after 9 days to proceed to trypsinization and continue their cultivation; then the cell passes every 3 days achieving a cell confluence of 95% at 15 days were done.Results in cell confluence is obtained by counting cells suspended in the culture medium....

We performed a comparative analytical study in order to determine the preference it dentists and patients on the clinical use gel with the enzyme papain obtained from Carica pubescens versus conventional rotary method for the removal of tooth decay in children. The research began with pilot-scale production of enzyme gel remover Carica pubescens.To determine the preference of the removal of caries validated questionnaires were applied pretest and posttest to 308 dentists and 308 patients randomly selected children who participated voluntarily, from cities in southern Peru. Se realizó un estudio experimental con dos productos: el Gel Elaborado en base a papaína contenida en el Extracto Hidroalcohólico de Carica papaya arequipensis al 10% (Gel Elaborado) y Gel Papacarie, compuesto por papaína al 2%, cloramina y azul de toluidina (Gel Control); con el propósito de evaluar su acción sobre el reblandecimiento y remoción de la caries dental en dientes de niños. OBJECTIVE: to evaluate the survival of high viscosity ionomers in molars with atraumatic restoration treatment at 3, 6, 9 and 12 months. MATERIAL AND METHODS: it was an interventional, observational and longitudinal study. Of 100 preschoolers of both sexes from a rural public school, the 30 preschoolers selected met the inclusion criteria; their parents agreed to sign the consent. The university UCSM gave the approval of the Ethics Committee with the number 2017-07. A USP senior pediatric dentist calibrated three pediatric dentists to unify the criteria of ionomer manipulation and atraumatic restoration treatment standardized by WHO, 12 with intra-specialist Kappa 0.9 and inter-specialist Kappa 0.8.
