Attendance taking is a fundamental process in educational environments, but in Peru, there has been a lack of technological advancements in this area, resulting in disadvantages such as delays and human errors. Therefore, the objective of this research project is to propose a facial recognition system for attendance taking in university classrooms using cameras and artificial intelligence based on machine learning. To achieve this objective, the VDI 2206 design methodology is employed, which allows for establishing project requirements and conducting an initial design. Electronic models will be created and integrated into the proposed system. This research develops the mechatronic design of an artificial honeycomb for Apis Melliferas bees, which allows the automatic extraction of honey in the farms of the province of Huancayo, Peru, since Junin produces 208.26 tons of honey annually with traditional and obsolete techniques. This research work presents the design of a mobile robot that monitors the care and integrity of children from the first year of life. The monitoring is done with a surveillance system that uses artificial vision to identify the environment and with help of the SLAM system, the robot can move without any difficulty since the robot itself will be able to map and locate in the environment. The presence sensors also contribute to the robot's displacement, as they work together with the SLAM system to measure the robot's distance from objects to avoid collisions. This research paper presents the design of an articulable robot for low-cost measurement in people needing maxillofacial surgery. It is observed that it is possible to improve the measurement accuracy, significantly reduce the error rate and risk to the patient, while reducing the manufacturing cost. Therefore, this research has an alternative solution which is the reuse of greywater (GW) which is extracted from hand washers, showers, and washing machines, which will go through a process of filtering and disinfection using UV rays for subsequent reuse through an automated ON-OFF control system. The mechanical design of an exoskeleton for wrist rehabilitation is an innovative solution improve the effectiveness of therapy and the quality of life of patients. This scientific paper presents the mechanical design process of the ergonomic and lightweight exoskeleton, as well as the results obtained in performance and efficacy tests in wrist rehabilitation. The exoskeleton consists of a mechanical structure that is attached to the patient´s hand by means of an adhesive velcro and is equipped with two servomotors which allow a precise and controlled movement. The test results demonstrate the main mobilities and sufficient resistance of the exoskeleton during the established rehabilitation exercises. It also features precise turning angles with no margino f error. This mechanical design can be used in hospitals, clinics and even at home, supervised by a remote specialist.
