Information systems to support smart heritage are driven by emerging technologies that gather, organize and provide access to large amounts of information. The objective of this research is to carry out a literature review to find the relationship between information systems, smart heritage and systems engineering education. The research method is qualitative descriptive, 27 articles which involve the three research variables were consulted. The conclusions of the review show that cultural heritage adopts emerging technologies to preserve, promote and reconstruct cultural heritage.
