The present research aims to evaluate the effect of a musical educational program on improving oral communication in English among fifth-grade students at Juan Pablo II educational institution in Iquitos, 2023. The study is evaluative in nature with a quasi-experimental, contemporary cross-sectional design, and univariable analysis. The population consisted of 142 students, out of which 66 were selected for the control and experimental groups, 31 and 30 respectively. Analyses indicate that, on average, students in the experimental group scored 10.778 in the variable of oral communication in English. The results of the learning achievement evaluation reveal that, according to the Mann-Whitney U test, a value of 382.500 was obtained with a significance of 0.234, which is higher than the significance level of 0.05.
