This working paper studies the factors of the Regional Innovation System in Europe in the period of 2000 – 2010 through an innovative methodology and based on a solid theory and empirical work. Innovation within a national economy is crucial to economic development and competitiveness both for the government as well as firms. Therefore, evolutionary theory has built the basis of innovation as an interactive system based on the synergy of various components that are involved and determine the innovative effort of each system. Objective: To analyze the neoliberal swing of the Peruvian economy from the events carried out in the Peruvian economy until the privatizations carried out in the 1990s by the government in office. Method: The research is of a documentary nature that consists in the analysis of information collected from secondary sources. At the same time, it is a descriptive investigation since it describes the process of the neoliberal turn from a Wallestenian approach. Results: There is information associated with three relevant factors of the study: a primary export insertion, the external debt and privatizations which have been analyzed using descriptive graphics. Objective: The main objective of this research work is to carry out an empirical research on the efficiency of innovation in European regions, through Data Envelopment Analysis. Method: To achieve this objective, information was used from 191 regions belonging to 27 countries of the European Union consolidated in the database IAIF - RIS (EU). Results: Efficiency scores related to innovation in the regions studied are shown. Conclusions: It will be useful for future analyzes related to efficiency, productivity and potential improvement of innovation systems.

En este trabajo se caracterizan las Tecnologías de Información y Comunicación (TICs) en las empresas peruanas según la Encuesta de Empresa 2015, elaborada por el Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INEI). Se han tomado para este propósito variables relacionadas a las empresas y a las TICs para describir su uso en la gestión empresarial de las empresas del Perú. Se ha empleado el paquete estadístico STATA para sistematizar y analizar los datos, dando como resultado interesantes miradas y puntos de vista. Esta investigación servirá de base para otras investigaciones de corte correlacional y causal.

This work describes Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in Peruvian companies according to the 2015 Enterprise Survey made by the National Statistical Institute (INEI). It has been chosen variables related to companies and ICTs to describe their use in the business management of companies in Peru. STATA software has been used to systematize and analyze the data with revealing results. This research will serve as the basis for other correlational and causal research.

Objetivo: Identificar las características principales de la producción de cacao criollo del departamento de Amazonas destinado a la exportación a mercados internacionales. Método: Este estudio es de corte descriptivo. Para lograr el objetivo planteado, se analizó el cacao criollo de siete distritos muestreados, 201 parcelas productoras escogidas de manera no probabilística por conveniencia, localizadas en el departamento de Amazonas. Para el análisis del producto se tomó muestras por triplicado, se analizó la varianza y se realizó un ensayo de cotejo de medias de Tukey empleando significancia del 0,95 haciendo uso del software estadístico Minitab versión 17.
