At this time most cities suffer from water shortages, an alternative is to explore new sources of supply. Moyobamba is supplied with two broken; one of them is in the Microriver Almendra. This thesis entitled "Potential Drinking Water Using Microriver Almendra" assesses different aspects that influence the ability of the micro-basin to supply water to the city of Moyobamba. The work includes the evaluation of four major indicators within the Microriver: flow, precipitation, water quality and vegetation cover. A particular method of evaluation was used for each indicator.
