La presente investigación se desarrolló con el objetivo de mejorar la comprensión lectora en los estudiantes del primer grado de secundaria. El estudio desarrollado se realizó de manera descriptiva con un diseño Pre experimental de aplicación de Prueba y Post Prueba, con un solo grupo de estudiantes. La población muestral estuvo conformada por 16 estudiantes del grado ya mencionado, teniendo en cuenta el muestreo no probabilístico. Los resultados más relevantes que se obtuvieron luego de la aplicación de la prueba y post prueba, indicaron que existe una diferencia significativa en los niveles de comprensión lectora. This research was developed with the aim of improving reading comprehension in students in the first grade of secondary school.
