La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre la adicción a redes sociales e impulsividad en los estudiantes de 4° y 5° grado de secundaria de dos instituciones educativas estatales de Lima Este. El instrumento utilizado para la medición de la variable de impulsividad fue la Escala de Impulsividad de Barratt en adolecentes tempranos (BIS-11-A) la cual contiene dos dimensiones: impulsividad general e impulsividad no planificada. En cuanto a la variable de adicción a las redes sociales se utilizó la Escala de Riesgo de Adicción a las Redes Sociales (CrARS) la cual contiene siete dimensiones, elaborado por Vilca y Vallejos (2015). La muestra estuvo conformada por 253 estudiantes, de ambos sexos, cuyas edades eran de 15-17 años.
