Objective: To compare the clinical-epidemiological characteristics of patients with burns before and during the COVID-19 pandemic treated at the “Instituto Nacional de Salud del Niño San Borja” . The study: Analytical, retrospective study. Patients treated at the INSNSB, during the periods from March to December 2019 and 2020. Data were collected from medical records. El objetivo de la investigación fue describir las principales características clínicas y epidemiológicas de pacientes en edad pediátrica con cardiopatía congénita, atendidos en el Instituto Nacional de Salud del Niño San Borja, durante el período 2014-2015. Se trató de un estudio no experimental, descriptivo, de tipo transversal y retrospectivo. 142 pacientes en edad pediátrica conformaron la muestra censal. Para el análisis estadístico, se utilizó determinó las frecuencias y las medidas de tendencia central.
