This article present a compilation of studies that related the forms of government in Catholic Universities. To do this, the author takes a tour of international research on the subject to later and study the Latin American reality, Mexico and specifically descend to the studies that have been done in Marist Universities. The intention is that academic research’s have starting point on this topic that allows future researchers to deepen their study and achieve better characterizations on the topic.

El presente artículo tiene como finalidad presentar los elementos básicos de las dinámicas de juego presentes en las políticas de educación superior privada. Estos se pueden revisar desde los supuestos de análisis de los jugadores, sus intencionalidades, acuerdos o normatividades y los incentivos propuestos. Se parte del supuesto que estas características han sido repetidas en los regímenes de calidad, que actualmente se basan en el prestigio y éxito académico, dando forma a las políticas de Educación Superior en América Latina, México y el caso particular del estado de Jalisco. Así podemos concluir que estos elementos del juego son isomórficos a los diversos sistemas de las políticas de la Educación Superior Privada.

The purpose of this article is to present the relationship between the type of university with its institutional support for research, members of the National System of Researchers and full-time professors, with respect to the number of publications they carry out and the journals they produce. The study seeks to test the hypothesis that there is a direct correlation between the number of National System Researchers members and full-time professors with the remuneration of knowledge generated by universities. Thus, the study updates data from the measurement of universities in these areas from 2005 to 2010 to see their evolution in 2014 and 2019. This allows generating an interpretation of the level of impact of institutional support for the real generation of knowledge in the country.
