La minería, desde tiempos ancestrales, es una de las actividades económicas más importantes del Perú. A diferencia de la informal, la minería formal cuenta con autorización, respeta el medio ambiente y cumple la legislación. En este contexto, la fiscalización ambiental resulta clave para supervisar, sancionar e incentivar el cumplimiento de obligaciones ambientales. El objetivo de la investigación fue determinar el desempeño de la Fiscalización Ambiental de los Gobiernos Regionales del Perú en el sector minero. Se realizó una búsqueda y revisión sistemática de información que fue analizada y clasificada.
