El objetivo de esta investigación fue evaluar niveles de inclusión de harina de lombriz (Eisenia foetida) en el rendimiento productivo de pollos criollos mejorados en fase I. El estudio se realizó en el área de aves del Programa de Investigación en Pastos y Ganadería, utilizando 120 pollos criollos distribuidos en 4 tratamientos, 3 repeticiones y 10 pollos por unidad experimental, bajo un diseño completamente al azar. La investigación duró 11 semanas, y los tratamientos incluyeron la harina de lombriz en niveles de 0%, 4%, 8% y 12%. Las lombrices fueron adquiridas de la granja Aborganik’z, y la obtención de la harina siguió un proceso de lavado, beneficio, secado y molienda. The growing demand for alternative protein sources in animal feed has increased interest in earthworm meal (EM) as a sustainable input in poultry production. This study evaluated the effect of its inclusion in the diet of native chickens on productive and economic parameters. Four treatments were applied with inclusion levels ranging from 0 to 12 % EM, recording cumulative feed intake, body weight, weight gain, feed conversion ratio, mortality, and profitability over a 25-day period. In addition, the nutritional composition of EM was determined through proximate analysis. The results showed significant differences (p < 0.05) in body weight, with a progressive increase from 355.51 g to 427.86 g.
