The objective of this scientific research was to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and the level of nursing attitude in the management of patients limited to therapeutic effort in the Intensive Care Unit of the Trujillo Regional Teaching Hospital. The study is quantitative, descriptive cross-sectional design. The study population consisted of 20 nursing professionals from the ICU. The technique used was the survey and the instrument was the dichotomous scale applied to our study. La presente investigación, de tipo Descriptivo Correlacional de corte transversal, se realizó en las mujeres del Centro Poblado Alto Trujillo, El Porvenir, durante los meses de Marzo 2013 – Febrero 2014, con la finalidad de indagar los factores que influyen en la práctica de prevención contra el cáncer de cuello uterino. La muestra estuvo constituida por 385 mujeres que cumplieron los criterios de inclusión mencionados en la investigación.
