Due to the spread of COVID-19, which began on December 31, 2019, in Wuhan, China, the virus quickly spread, causing numerous deaths. In response, many countries adopted drastic measures, such as restricting freedom of movement, although infections continued to rise. Healthcare systems collapsed, exposing shortages in personnel and infrastructure. Despite this, humanity made efforts to protect itself, and thanks to the work of scientists, the impact was mitigated. In Peru, the first case was reported on March 6, 2020, and since then, the State has implemented various measures to confront the pandemic. As a result of this situation, public and private institutions suspended their activities due to the government-imposed quarantine, generating great uncertainty, especially among self-employed workers, since their income depends on daily labor.
