This research focused on analyzing the effects of public investment and adequate employment on the incidence of at least one unmet basic need in households in the department of Loreto during the period 2014-2023. Adequate employment is understood as those jobs where 35 or more hours a week are worked and a remuneration at least equal to the minimum living wage (RMV) is granted, including those who work less than 35 hours a week but who do not wish to increase their workload.
