The present study shows the case of a 7-year-old male canine who was admitted to the veterinary clinic "Vet Center", Bucaramanga, Colombia, for an alleged poisoning picture. The patient showed signs of depression, dysuria, strangury, haematuria and vomiting. Haematological assessment and urinalysis revealed a picture of dehydration and urinary infection. Blood chemistry showed insufficiency and postrenal azotemia, and the ultrasound examination showed the presence of a urolith and urinary bladder repletion, confirming the diagnosis of obstructive uropathy. For the stabilization of the patient, a Nelaton urinary catheter was placed to empty the bladder and hydro propulsion was done. Besides, maintenance intravenous solutions with 0.9% NaCl, antibiotics and anti-inflammatory were prescribed. Through participant observation, analysis of sources and comparing stories about the festivity of St. James in the village of Rio Grande, Antofagasta Region, Chile, this article explores the changes and continuities that can be identified in various rites of this Andean community of northern Chile. Considering diverse stories that comprehend different celebrations that are involved in the devotion to the Apostle James, we propose the existence of a “festive cycle”, which lasts around a week. In addition, relevant milestones are recognized so to expose the continuity of tradition, and changes that occur over time, which can be attributed to the advance of modernity within the community of Río Grande.

El objetivo de este estudio fue analizar la relación entre la cultura organizacional y las prácticas de responsabilidad social empresarial de la empresa minera Volcan 2023, evaluando las dimensiones de ambas variables: involucramiento, adaptabilidad, consistencia, misión de la Cultura Organizacional y los aspectos económicos, legales, éticos y filantrópicos de la Responsabilidad Social Empresarial (RSE). Esta investigación tiene como prioridad concientizar a la población a cambiar el uso de platos y vasos descartables de plástico o de tecnopor por productos hechos a base de material natural, consistente y no perjudicial para el cuidado de nuestro medio ambiente. Nuestro negocio consiste en la creación de utensilios a base de productos eco-amigables, elaborados con bagazo de caña de azúcar y resina de almidón de yuca que sirve como estabilizador e impermeabilizante, que tienen como finalidad reducir la contaminación ambiental reemplazando así el plástico y tecnopor, siendo elaborados con altos estándares de calidad. El objetivo de esta investigación es posicionar la marca en los primeros 5 años como una empresa innovadora y ambientalmente responsable, logrando así la fidelización del cliente y generando margen de utilidad del 40%.
