Objective: To determine the diagnostic validity of cytology in the detection of neoplastic lesions of the cervix at the National Maternal-Perinatal Institute during 2019. Determina la validez diagnóstica de la citología en la detección de lesiones neoplásicas de cuello uterino en el Instituto Nacional Materno Perinatal durante el año 2019. Se estudiaron 161 pacientes que contaban con exámenes de citología cervical e histología de cérvix en el INMP durante el año 2019. Se recopilo la información de las historias clínicas con resultado positivo y negativo de lesiones neoplásicas del cuello uterino mediante una ficha de recolección de datos, las cuales cumplían con los criterios de inclusión y exclusión de este estudio.
