A new species of ground beetle, Trechisibus (Trechisibiodes) apukhapiensis sp. n. from the Andean Mountains of southeastern Peru is described based on specimens collected in the Apu Khapia Mountain, 4 462 m. (16° 20' 41'’ S, 68° 08' 57'’ W), Puno region. This species is externally similar to T. bohorquezae and T. orophilus, yet differs specifically from them in the male genitalia.

Four new species, belonging to genus Trechisibus Motschoulsky, 1862 are described from southeastern Peru: T. silviae sp. nov., T. elisae sp. nov., T. jorgeluisi sp. nov. and T. bravoi sp. nov. Their affinities and differences respect to other, previously known, species of the genus from the surroundings of Lake Titicaca are discussed. The way to do this task goes through a review of the taxonomic utility of characters that show certain degree of variation, such as the features of the apical triangle or the chaetotaxy of the epistoma, as well as through searching for new discriminatory features.

Se incluye el primer registro de Mimodromius aptinoides Brullé, 1837 y nuevas localidades de Mimodromius altus Liebke, 1941. Se revisan los datos disponibles sobre la distribución de las especies de este género en el país, así como los datos conocidos acerca de su biología.--- [EN] New data on the genus Mimodromius Chaudoir, 1873 (Coleoptera: Carabidae) for Peru are reported. Available data on the distribution of the species of this genus in the country are reviewed, as well as the data known about their biology.

A new species of ground beetle, Pelmatellus amicorum Delgado and Ruiz-Tapiador (Coleoptera: Carabidae), from the Andean Altiplano of Peru is described. The state of knowledge of the genus and the relationship of the new species with known congeneric species are reviewed.

[EN] In this work the new species Trechisibus (s. str.) delestali sp. n., is described from the southern Peruvian Andes. The morphological differences with the geographically closest species of the subgenus are also presented and discussed.
