El objetivo de este estudio fue evaluar la efectividad de los proyectos de desarrollo comunitario implementados por la carrera de Trabajo Social de la Universidad Técnica de Manabí (UTM), analizando sus metodologías, la preparación de los estudiantes y la participación de la comunidad. Se empleó un enfoque metodológico mixto, incluyendo técnicas cualitativas y cuantitativas para recopilar información mediante encuestas y entrevistas dirigidas a estudiantes, docentes y miembros de la comunidad. Los resultados evidenciaron que, si bien los proyectos han contribuido al fortalecimiento del tejido social y a la formación profesional de los estudiantes, existen áreas de mejora.
