La presente investigación se realizó con el objetivo de determinar la relación entre la motivación y el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes de primer ciclo de la carrera profesional de educación inicial de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego de Trujillo. Para lo cual se llevó a cabo una investigación de tipo básica y un diseño de investigación correlacional. Para determinar el tamaño de muestra se hizo uso del muestreo aleatorio simple.
