Characterization of biotic and abiotic factors is a necessary procedure for ecosystem management. In this context, we developed a characterization of the biotope of the Cuchimachay ravine in San Jeronimo de Surco, Lima. Satellite images of moisture index and moisture stress of the study area from June 8, 2024 were obtained through the Sentinel-2 satellite at L2A level. Images in Aster version 003 format were obtained from the ASTER Global Digital Elevation Model, images, providing a digital elevation model. The study area fluctuates between 2 075 and 2 400 meters above sea level. The eastern slope has a greater number of altitudinal levels.
