This research was conducted to find out the relationship between socioemotional skills (HSE) and the development of self-esteem (DDLA) in early childhood education students of the Faculty of Education Sciences and Humanities (FCEH) at the National University of the Peruvian Amazon. For this reason, with respect to its objective, the relational type of research was used. And research actions were designed as field, transversal, and bivariate. 171 students of initial education constituted the population and sample, to whom questionnaires previously validated by experts were administered by means of the survey technique.
