This qualitative study, social representations approach, was conducted, with the question “What is the social representation of violence from the perspective of women treated in the Health Center “El Buen Pastor” – Trujillo? The objectives were to characterize the social representation of violence against women, from the perspective of women, likewise analyze and discuss the representations of violence against women from the perspective of the women mentioned above. Based on these research objectives, it got the information and then did the description, interpretation and analysis of data, collected during the research process.
