El objetivo de la presente investigación fue determinar la presencia de metabolitos secundarios, dosis letal media, actividad antisecretora y citoprotectora de los extractos acuoso y alcohólico de las hojas del phoradendron crassifoliumy establecer la presencia de los efectos adversos, utilizándose como material y método, dichas hojas en 144ratas distribuidas al azar en 18 grupos de ocho cada uno, seis grupos para la úlcera gástrica inducida por ligadura de píloro, ocho para la úlcera gástrica inducida por indometacina, y cuatro para la úlcera gástrica crónica inducido por ácido acético; evaluándose las lesiones macroscópicas y microscópicas del estómago, el estudio histopatológico de los otros órganos y 105 ratones para el ensayo de toxicidad. OBJECTIVE : To evaluate the impact of a preventive - emotional intervention, based on the community to improve knowledge and iron intake of pregnant women with anemia.
